A term often used as an excuse to raise the price! But it shouldn’t be that way. Costs only change when you add (or reduce) something from the original itinerary that the trip is based on.
Just some minor adjustments to a trip to suit you can make all the difference. An extra day on trek, maybe a day shorter because you’re short of time or an extended stay in a town to relax a bit more. There’s very little that can’t be done; many of our trips run with a min of 2 people.
If you have an idea, or just not sure, then it’s certainly worth the call to see if we can help. Call 01529 488159 or 07725 943108.
Tailor Made trips are perfect for those that like travelling as a couple, pair, family or pre-formed group. They are also perfect for making it up as you go along!

Some Tailor Made Ideas…
Pick a departure date that suits you.
Add a few days on the front end or back end of your trip either in Marrakesh or perhaps extend to the Atlantic resort of Essouria after either a mountain or desert trek. Essouria is just a few hours by road and if we get the dates right, we can even fly you back from there.
Try flying into Fez or Casablanca and spending a night or two there and then get the train to Marrakesh.
When the trip finishes in Marrakesh, instead of flying to London, fly to Madrid or Barcelona and get the train from there. An overnight in either city is great fun and the new fast trains get you back to London in a day through Paris (Eurostar).
Nepal – endless opportunities.
Mix and Match trekking with some white water rafting or mountain biking. There are some gentle or serious rivers and mountain bike trails for those that want them.
Extend your days in Kathmandu or Pokhara. Pokhara especially is worth an extra day or two; lots to do and a very relaxing place.
Spend a couple of nights in Jomson, the mountain airstrip deep in the Himalaya and do a little trekking around there.
Mix a short bespoke trek with some touring.
We can mix any number of nights between these 3 easily accessible countries. Fly into Kathmandu and then fly straight passed Mt Everest on the way to Bhutan for a few nights to see the iconic Tiger’s Nest. Return to Kathmandu for a short trek (Annapurna or Everest) before heading onto Delhi and the Taj Mahal.
Wonderful opportunity to extend and explore either Delhi or further afield, or both.
Delhi is certainly worth a couple of nights. It’s a city of two halves with Old Delhi in the north and the more cosmopolitan New Delhi in the south. Getting into the iconic tuk-tuk’s and zooming around the city is great fun and very inexpensive.
The Taj Mahal (Agra) can be done is just 1 overnight stop in Agra to see this beautiful building at dawn.
The Golden Triangle of Delhi- Agra (Taj Mahal) – Jaipur (Amber Fort) – takes a few days.
Extend beyond into Rajasthan to Udaipur or Jodhpur and why not go by overnight train! The Indian train system is one of life’s great travel experiences.
A fantastically diverse country (over 60% is jungle!), mixing some high altitude trekking with either more adventure sports or fly up to Cusco to see Machu Picchu.
Opportunities to extend inland with a hire car or around the southern coast.
Extend in Reykjavik to do some whale watching or explore the town. It’s a very walkable town.
After a hard Kilimanjaro trek, it is a perfect opportunity to fly over to the Indian Ocean island of Zanzibar and relax in the sun and clear waters.
