Trekking Below 3500m

Experience tells us that trekking below 3500m is unlikely to cause any great discomfort from altitude related issues.

There are many areas and treks that cater for this level of altitude and are ideal for children. The lower Annapurna region and early part of the Everest region for example are all under 3500m and offer superb experiences of rural life in Nepal with great mountain views (some of them are 8000m peaks).

There are some treks that just go above the 3500m level and push the boundaries a little (but safely). The Everest Experience for example goes up to 3900m but can be restricted to 3600m. If you wish to discuss, just call us on 01529 488159.

Nepal, Poon Hill sunrise Nepal Himalayan Sunrise Trek

Excellent trek, will suit first timers to Nepal or those who do not want a long demanding route. 5-6 day adventure culminating in summiting Poon Hill (3200m) to see the sunrise over the Himalayas from what must be one of the best vantage points around. Brilliant in late Apr/early May when the rhododendrons are in full bloom.
