Training Weekends
Come and join us on one of our socialble trekking weekends and find out more about us and our treks. These trekking weekends can be used in a variety of ways whether it is to meet us and see what we are all about or to gauge your fitness for a future trek. Above all, this isn't a test! No-one is going to left on the hill!

If requested, I will bring along a selection of my own kit in case anyone has questions about what they need for any specific trek whether it be in Nepal or to climb Kilimanjaro. Having been trekking with us on a weekend, many go away with the confidence that they aren't going to die up the first hill in Nepal or similar far flung trekking destination! Many others come back having been on a trek simply because they enjoy the walking with the whole thing being organised for them. Whatever your reason for coming, you will be made most welcome.
The Peak District is our prime trekking area as it is fairly central. In addition to the B&B's and hotels, it has a fair share of Youth Hostels too. They are inexpensive, comfortable, extremely well placed and they can cater for the numbers that usually attend. You do not have to be a member to stay anymore (£3 supplement per night if you are not). You are free of course to make your own arrangements and I often supply a list of suitable accommodation such as B&B's
My fee for organising and guiding this weekend is £25 per person (unless stated) (£15 for Sat only). Your food, lodgings, transportation to and from the weekend and any other incidentals are the individuals responsibility.

Check the availability of your own accommodation and costs. Do not book your accommodation prior to checking with us that the event is taking place.

Send a cheque to the address below. Cheques payable to Travel and Trek.
£15 of the fee is non-refundable should you withdraw after booking.
