Travel and Trek provided loads of information prior to departure to wipe away and doubts that I had. The Nepalese staff were brilliant……..the group itself spanned a wide range of ages/experiences…..we all shared a common love for the outdoors and supported each other through every ache and motivational slump. It was a bond that will last for a long time. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience and Travel and Trek to anyone who has even an incline that they might want to give this a bash.

In each case the trip was exceptionally well organised with truly wonderful local guides who couldn't do enough for you. Some are friends for life. The highlight for me was getting over the Thorung La Pass in the Annapurna region of Nepal; a real challenge at 60+ but taking it easy with the right acclimatization and great support, we did it! The memories of that trip will live with me for ever! Namaste...

Initially I only intended on heading to EBC but I am so glad that I went the extra mile to summit Island Peak. I went to EBC and being a female travelling alone I was a little apprehensive about the whole experience. Terry made it so easy and no question/issue was too small for his full attention and very helpful advice. The entire trek was extremely well organised and I always felt safe…the Nepalese guides were so genuine, the accommodation good, can't say much for the food but I wouldn't have picked Nepal if I was looking for culinary genius! Terry led this and the whole thing was just about foot perfect from arrival in Delhi, the trek, back to Delhi and then Agra (Taj Mahal). Small companies are good; great service, lots of communication and flexible.
