3 nights Kathmandu, 7 Day Annapurna trek with time in Pokhara

The Annapurna Trekking Experience is perfect for anyone visiting Nepal for the first time; it has everything. Sufficient time in Kathmandu, the superb 7 day trek in lower Annapurna area followed by some rest in Pokhara. The addition of a jungle safari in the Chitwan National Park is optional but highly recommended. It only adds a day to the overall time!
Annapurna Trekking Experience itinerary and information
After a short settling in period in Kathmandu, you will be driven initially to Pokhara before heading out to begin your trek. This 7 day trek is wonderful. It begins at Phedi and over several days slowly climbs up to the highest village on the trek; Ghorepani (2900m).
This area is low enough in altitude not to cause problems and yet challenging enough for it not to be a stroll in the park! It is a beautiful area, plenty of villages to trek through that provide a very warm welcome. Our route takes you through the villages of Pothana, Landruk, Chomrung, Tadapani, Ghorepani, Birathani and exiting at Naya Pul. It is a much better route than entering at Naya Pul.
You will also get up to Poon Hill (3200m), a fantastic photographic opportunity to see the sun rise over the Annapurna range.
On completion of the trek, you will spend a relaxing night in the lovely lake side town of Pokhara. Soak up the atmosphere, people watch and if you decide to extend your stay here, get involved in the numerous adventurous activities such as microliting or paragliding or just laze by the pool. What ever you do, it make a perfect ending to your trek.
From here, you will either fly back to Kathmandu or drive onto Chitwan (if you have decided to add the extension).
Whichever you choose, we will collect you at the domestic airport and transfer you back to your hotel to catch up on sightseeing and maybe more bargains in the shops before you fly back to the UK.
