Nepal Trekking

Nepal is considered to be one of the best trekking destinations in the world – if not the best. It is home to one third of the entire Himalaya range including 8 of the 14 8000m peaks in the world.

Kathmandu is the capital and the country’s only international airport. From here, by internal flight or by road, you can access at least four extensive trekking regions: Everest (known as the Khumbu), Langtang, Mansalu and Annapurna.

Treks can range from relatively low level day walks to full blown supported treks lasting several weeks.

Combine your trek with some time in the two biggest cities/towns of Kathmandu and Pokhara and perhaps also a visit to the Royal Chitwan National Park. All of these places have plenty to see and do; Kathmandu has more World Heritage Sites than just about any other city in the world.

Travel and Trek offers regular treks (and trekking peak climbs) to the Everest and Annapurna regions with tailor made trips to the other two regions.
