Everest Region - Tailor Made
The Everest region (the Khumbu as it is known) can be explored without the need to go to Everest Base Camp; not everyone wants to go there.
The lower altitude areas around Namche Bazaar and even Tengbouche can provide trekkers with a wonderful experience of this Sherpa stronghold. Taken at a leisurely pace, excellent views of Everest can be had from both of these places whilst exploring other smaller villages many EBC trekkers simply do not have time to see.
Those with a longer time frame may wish to combine more of what this region has to offer; perhaps Gokyo, EBC and Island Peak?
